It's my form of art
I’m glad you’re here! This has been an amazing journey with Family, Friends, and Food. Food being the constant that always connects each and every one of us.
So, I get asked all the time: “where were you trained?” The simple truth is in my kitchen. In my mom’s kitchen. In my dad’s kitchen. I just fell in love with food and maybe more so – the prep and cooking of dishes. When I started my family, cooking became a necessity as much as a hobby. My wife even started cooking with me. With the emergence of cooking shows, cooking magazines, and online cooking membership – paid and unpaid, cooking got really interesting for me. Besides my family, I owe so much to cooks I’ve followed for years.
I’m athletic (not so much anymore), and that’s where it stops. I can’t play an instrument. I can’t sing. I can’t draw. I can’t paint. I don’t do work with clay to make table art and I don’t decorate. My wife will tell you I’m really not even good at coordinating my outfit for the day….
But I can cook. It’s my form of art. It’s my form of creative release. Perhaps the biggest joy of it all is that it puts smiles on peoples faces.
I’ve put some of our favorite recipes in here. Try them. Have fun with them. Take them and make them your own. Most of all - share them. Eat with your families. Eat with friends. Just don’t be afraid to create. A strong palate has no limitations. Everyone can cook. You just need to do it. And if you need a starting point – gimme a call and I’ll get you going. From our home to yours! Mangiamo!
